David Gallo, the founder of Better City Tree Services, has always been a hard worker. As an immigrant, he was led to California to provide a better life for his family. However, it was the lush nature of the Bay Area that got him to stay and set down roots. He started working indoors, in the food service industry, but felt the strong desire to work outside. He loved nature and wanted to connect more meaningfully with the people of his community. But he also wanted to channel his hard work ethic into making that community better!

Today, like the redwoods of northern California, the roots he has set down have grown deep, and with his founding of Better City Tree Services and his continued service to the community for 20 years, those roots have also grown strong!
